Welcome to Capoeira Cordão de Ouro Hawaii

Learn and play Capoeira with us!

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form which blends martial arts, dance, acrobatics and music. It is does not rely on physical strength and is very playful, so men, women and children can train and play together. Not only does it improve your physical strength, flexibility and reflexes, but also improves your musicality and overall energy.

Capoeira Cordão de Ouro Hawaii is under the direction of Professor Duas Duzias from Minas Gerais, Brazil. We currently offer weekly mixed level classes in Downtown Honolulu on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for beginners to advanced students alike. We also volunteer at Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii to offer free Kids Capoeira class on Tuesdays and Thursdays as an after-school program. If you would like to see live Capoeira, come to our stree roda on every First Friday in Chinatown!

Stop by one of our classes, and give it a try. First class is always free! Check out our up-to-date class schedule!
